The man who famously said "I'm never going to die" has done just that. Died, I mean.

I idolized Micheal Jackson, growing up. It seemed to me that he really could heal the world with his pelvic thrusts, moonwalk and inimitable voice. The first time his nose broke off, he fell off my pedestal.

'Neverland' should have never happened. The rides, the kids, the pyjama parties...the accusations, the out-of-court settlements, the acquittal... Was he just a rich guy being taken advantage of...or was he really a child predator. We'll never know for sure.

But it is quite clear that he was a very disturbed man, who had no grasp on reality. "I was born black, but became white. It has to do with puberty, people change during puberty" And you could see in his eyes that he absolutely believed that.

His contribution to music world is priceless. But as a man, he choose to be the rich creep who played with toys and little boys. I pray he found what he was looking for before he died. May his soul rest in peace.

...

2 posts in a day! If I don't keep going with this blogging business I might stop.

Kind of like when I began cycling. I would ride as fast as I could on unfamiliar roads and even into heavy traffic because that was the only way I could balance. I rarely used the bike's brakes. I used, what I call, external brakes. These were usually slow-moving adults, some on vehicles others jay-walking. It helped that I was 9 and always looked like I was about to burst into tears. The cows took it in their stride. A lot worse happens to them on the streets. A small girl sprawled face down at their hoofed feet was just a mild distraction.

I now know 'Full steam ahead' is not always the best way forward. But it's fun while it lasts...
